Tidewatch Command
Tidewatch Command drops you in charge of a string of coastal forts and never gives you quite enough to defend all of them. That tension is the whole game. You're constantly deciding where to send units and which outpost to sacrifice, and the maps are designed so there's no clean answer.
It runs in real time but pauses cleanly when you tap a menu, which makes it playable one-handed on a phone. The unit variety is decent — scouts, heavy defenders, and support builders each matter — and reading the enemy's approach routes became a genuine skill by the later campaigns.
The tutorial is a little stiff and the UI could use bigger buttons, but once it clicks the strategy is real. We lost more than a few matches and came right back to try a different plan.
