Vortex Pin started as a group chat where four friends kept sending each other screenshots of games we couldn't stop playing. At some point we figured the notes we were trading were more useful than most of the reviews we read online, so we put them on a proper site.,We don't chase every new release. Each week we pick a handful of games across genres, install them on our own phones, and actually finish or get deep enough to have an opinion worth sharing. If a game is boring after two hours, we say so.,Games get chosen by a simple rule: would we recommend it to a friend? We rotate who picks so the catalog doesn't drift toward one genre. Some weeks it's a heavy RPG, other weeks a silly arcade timewaster that eats a whole train ride.,Nobody here gets paid by studios to be nice. The ratings are ours, the mistakes are ours, and if we change our mind about a game we update the review and say why.
